Edward D. Kosakoski D.M.D. Endodontist

Dr. Kosakoski grew up in Miami, FL, as the first born of six children. He attended the University of South Carolina on a Navy ROTC Scholarship and graduated with a B.S. in Biology in 1973. He was immediately commissioned an Ensign in the U.S. Navy and received his first choice of orders - Underwater Demolition/SEAL training at the Naval Amphibious Base in Coronado, CA. Dr. Kosakoski served as a Naval Special Warfare officer/SEAL from 1975 to 1982 with tours of duty at Underwater Demolition Team Twelve, SEAL Team One, the Naval Amphibious School, Coronado, as a Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL instructor, and the Joint Special Operations Command at Fort Bragg, N.C. Dr. Kosakoski resigned his regular commission as a naval officer in August 1982 and entered the University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville, FL. He graduated with his DMD in 1986 and rejoined the Navy as a Dental Corps officer. He completed a one-year General Practice Residency at the Naval Hospital, Great Lakes, IL, in the Chicago area in 1987, and an Endodontic Residency at the Naval Postgraduate Dental School in Bethesda, MD, in 1997. While a member of the Naval Dental Corps, Dr. Kosakoski served tours of duty at Camp Pendleton, CA, the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego, the Naval Training Center in Orlando, a one year assignment to Bahrain in the Persian Gulf, the Naval Hospital in Great Lakes, IL, and the National Naval Dental Center in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Kosakoski retired from the Navy in 1999 and developed a very successful endodontic practice in San Diego. He relocated to his home state of Florida in 2012 and practiced in Stuart and Port St. Lucie before joining Smile Design. Dr. Kosakoski enjoys all things outdoors and on the water, especially fishing, sailing, scuba diving, winter ski trips, and top down "road tripping" wherever the road may lead. He follows most sports but especially the Florida Gators! He has a love for music, especially "live music", and is an avid concert attendee.

Fred J. Aledo D.M.D.

Dr. Fred Aledo was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and obtained his Bachelors Degree in General Sciences at the University of Puerto Rico in 1995. He continued to pursue his dream of becoming a Dentist studying at the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine, graduating in the year 2000. He owned a practice on the northeastern mountainous region of the island serving the community for almost eight years before moving with his family to the Tampa Bay area, where he's been practicing dentistry since 2008. A member in good standing of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association and West Coast District Dental Association, Dr. Aledo has always been committed to educating his patients about their oral health so they can make educated decisions about their treatment needs. Dr. Aledo is a certified Invisalign provider and performs other procedures such as root canal treatments and surgical extractions, which in most cases eliminates the need to be referred to a specialist. His goal is to provide the best treatment possible in a friendly environment. He is fluent in English and Spanish. Dr. Aledo enjoys spending time together with his wife and children. He is an active member of his church where he is currently serving as a worship leader. He enjoys music, drawing, playing guitar and is a fan of the Tampa Bay Lightning hockey team.

Samantha Reed D.M.D.

Dr. Reed is originally from Durham, NC. After obtaining her Bachelor degree in Biology from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, she went from being a "Tarheel" to being a "Gator." She continued her education at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville to receive her Doctorate in Dental Medicine.

Dr. Reed found her calling in treating pediatric patients. For over 15 years she has taken hundreds of hours in continuing education and received extensive training to stay current in the field of pediatric dentistry. She takes pride in alleviating dental fears in her patients and seeing them leave the office excited to return.

During her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her husband, water activities on their boats with families and friends, and cheering for her son as he plays for the University of Florida Gators Football Team.

Selena Dental Assistant

Selena has been in the dental field for over 24 years. She enjoys the outcome of reconstructing patient’s smiles and building their confidence. In her free time, you can find Selena fishing, painting, and spending time with her dog, Onka.

Aimee Dental Assistant

Aimee has been in the dental field for over 20 years. Aimee likes the reward of patient outcome making them more confident and putting their fear of dentistry to rest. In Aimee’s spare time she enjoys photography, boating, and music.
