Dr. Reza Iranmanesh is a graduate of the Tehran University School of Dentistry. After completing his doctorate, he attended Boston University where he obtained a Master’s degree in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics. He has practiced Comprehensive and Full Mouth Rehabilitation Dentistry in Tampa since 1989.
Dr. Iranmanesh has held a part-time position as the Courtesy Clinical Professor at the University of Florida in the Graduate and Postgraduate departments of Prosthodontics in Gainesville, and he has taught the General Practice Residency program at the University of Florida in Tampa.
As a prosthodontist with over 25 years of experience, his special expertise is in performing comprehensive diagnosis and treatment planning for whole mouth rehabilitation, in cases where the patient has multiple dental needs and health considerations.
He specifically treats complex cases, full-mouth rehabilitation, TMJ-related disorders, occlusal dysfunction, congenital disorders, and sleep apnea by planning and fabricating various prostheses (crowns, bridges, implants, veneers). Prosthodontists are trained to achieve optimal function and esthetics within the unique circumstances of their individual patients. They are science-based practitioners and on the leading edge of technology application. They are expert in a vast range of methods and materials that afford patients treatment options that will predictably last. Dr. Iranmanesh intentionally stays on the cutting edge of proven science and technology. His recent adoption of the latest Sirona CEREC system with its integrated 3D imaging.
In addition to being a Member of the American College of Proshodontics, Dr. Iranmanesh is an active member of several distinguished dental organizations, including the International College of Dentists, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Florida West Coast Dental Association, Hillsborough County Dental Association (Past President), Iranian American Dental Association of Florida (Past President), Tampa Dental Study Club (Past President), and Tampa Implant Study Club (Past President). Dr. Iranmanesh also served terms as Dental Board Examiner in Florida and has been a Delegate in the House of Delegates in the Florida Dental Association since 2004. He is Past President of the Florida Prosthodontist Association.
“My goal is to provide optimally aesthetic and functional restorations on natural teeth and dental implants, in a manner that is comfortable for each person who comes to me for help, whether it be for limited restoration or entire mouth rehabilitation,” says Dr. Iranmanesh. “As a prosthodontic specialist, I am in the business of solving dental puzzles that are beyond the capabilities of most general dentists, and I care deeply about my patients during the process…their health histories…any pain…their self-esteem…their concerns about what the process will be like and how long it will take, and so on. I give of my time freely to talk and provide the information and support each might need. I spend significant time examining the clinical records, making a thoroughly explored diagnosis, and creating the most appropriate treatment plan along with and for the patient. Ultimately, my hope is to contribute to an improved quality of life that lasts.”
